Elements of a Rustic Modern Christmas Mini
I love utilizing my natural light home studio for mini portrait sessions and milestone portrait sessions. I'm especially excited to be able to use it for this year's Christmas Minis because we won't have to worry about snow or cold!
I've been a big fan of the rustic modern look ever since Joanna Gaines brought it into my life years ago on "Fixer Upper." If you know me you know I'm kind of obsessed with Joanna Gaines, Katrina Scott, and Beyonce (Duh! Who isn't?!). I love a powerful female entrepreneur. Anyway, I digress.
Below are some of the elements I will be using to style my Family Christmas Mini Portrait session for Christmas 2022.
Merry Christmas in July!!
Wreath
This wreath is large, and that makes it so versatile. I like to place a little one in the middle and photograph from above, use it as a frame, or as decor while a little one stands nearby.
Leather Bench
I like the simplicity of this leather bench. It's beautiful and allows for sitting photos of families. I also enjoy layering textures with the pillows & blankets or they can easily be removed to make more room.
Wooden Pallet tree
This wooden pallet tree is so pretty. It's minimalistic but adds another element of texture to the photos. I also love this galvanized bucket to set an older baby in. The neutral colors in this set-up would go with any outfit that my families choose to wear.
